The Architectural Society of China

As an academic community composed of professionals of architectural science and technology in Shanghai, an independently corporation registered under the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and one of members of Shanghai Association for Science & Technology, the Architectural Society of Shanghai China (abbreviation: ASSC) has been always guided and supported by the Architectural Society of China and Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and Management. ASSC was founded in 1953. Over the past 60 years, it attracted numerous excellent experts and elites in such fields as city planning, architecture, structure, machine electricity, construction and municipal construction.

China Civil Engineering Society

China Civil Engineering Society (CCES), founded in 1912 by Zhan Tianyou, was formerly known as the China Society of Engineers (Civil Engineering Professional Committee). It focuses on cross-industry and inter-departmental national civil engineering science and technology work established according to law. The national academic mass group is part of the China Science and Technology Association and is affiliated with the Ministry of Construction. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Communications, CCES conducts cross-industry, cross-departmental, and interdisciplinary academic activities in the field of civil engineering.

Association of German Architects (BDA)

Since its founding in 1903, the Association of German Architects (BDA) has been committed to elevating and improving the function and meaning of architecture in service of society and the environment. The more than 5,000 members of the BDA are among the leading independent architects in Germany. Their track record of success speaks for itself: every third Euro invested in German construction is invested in a project involving a BDA architect. The BDA appoints only members whose character and work meet strict criteria; appointment in the BDA is both an honour and a recognition of high-quality work.

China Construction Metal Structure Association

China Construction Metal Structure Association (abbreviated as CCMSA) was established in August of 1981 in Beijing. CCMSA has its registration approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs as the sole industry association in the construction metal structure materials field. It runs under the guidance of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) and under the scrutiny of the Ministry of Civil Affairs in business. CCMSA is a non-profit organization that is voluntarily formed by such enterprises engaged in the field of fenestrations, curtain walls, steel structures in construction, heating and heat elimination equipments, construction fasteners, construction mold and scaffolds, fittings for windows and doors, photovoltaic products for constructions, drainage equipments for constructions, related products that may match the above products and some service companies and related institutions (research and design institutions, universities, colleges, etc.). There are 3,320 existing members and 54 full-time staff in this association.

China Building Decoration Association (CBDA)

Under the guidance of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of the People's Republic of China for operations, has more than 4000 directly affiliated member enterprises. The Secretariat of the Association has 4 working divisions and 10 professional committees (Construction Committee, Design Committee, Culture and Science and Technology Committee, etc.). There are 81 local decoration associations all over the country, with a total of more than 17,500 members. The Association, with more than 230 staff members, has one website, one journal, one newspaper and one Wechat public account circulated by domestic and foreign channels and 9 types of internal publications, such as CBDA.CN, Interior Architecture of China, ZZXDC-China Decoration Association Design Network, China Construction News, and China Building Decoration Association (CBDA), etc.

EuroWindoor Association was  founded in January 1999, as the authoritative European industry organization of door and window curtain wall, it has brought a large number of market and technical information and trade opportunities to China, which has effectively promoted the cooperation between China and Europe.

DGNB

The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) has more than 1,100 industry members in Germany and around the world. Its main goal is to draw attention to the fact that sustainable building is not only necessary but also possible. To achieve this, the DGNB works together with both scientists and experts to transfer knowledge via events, the media, and training. Furthermore, the DGNB issues certificates for sustainable buildings and has developed an international standard regarding the certification process for sustainable buildings, and additionally enables planners to build in a sustainable, high quality as well as cost-efficient manner.

ift Rosenheim is a European notified testing, surveillance and certification body that is internationally accredited according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025. Its focus is on the practiceoriented, holistic and rapid testing and classification of all characteristics of windows, facades, doors, gates, glass and building materials. It aims to bring about sustained improvements in product quality, design and technology and in standardization and research. A Certification by ift Rosenheim ensures acceptance throughout Europe. The ift also sees the dis92 semination of knowledge as an obligatory part of its work. As an independent institute, the ift enjoys special status in the media, and its publications document the current state of the art.

The publishing house Bauverlag is the biggest provider of specialist information about architecture and building in the German language. Bauverlag can cover all relevant target groups with its portfolio of trade journals, and many of its journals are market leaders in their respective sectors.
Additionally, Bauverlag is a well-known organizer of conferences and forums with a worldwide network. For example, Bauverlag organizes the top architecture forum within BAU in Munich for the entire six days of BAU, including top international architects as speakers, such as Bent van Berkel (UNStudio), Patrik Schumacher (Zaha Hadid) or Prof. Brian Cody (Institute for Buildings and Energy).

WA

WA was founded in October 1980. It is directed by Tsinghua University and closely cooperates with the BIAD (Beijing Institute of Architectural Design). With a total circulation of over 50,000 issues per month, WA is the largest architectural magazine in China. WA is bilingual, published monthly, and distributed worldwide.

In addition, besides publishing the journal, WA also hosts lectures, a monthly forum series on "Thinking Architecture" and organizes various exhibitions and competitions. In 2002, WA set up the bi-annual WA Award for Chinese Architecture (WAACA), which became China's most prestigious architectural award.

European Precast Concrete Federation

BIBM (from the French name "Bureau International du Béton Manufacturé") was founded in Bruxelles, Belgium in 1954. It represents the interests of the precast concrete industry at the European level. The aims of the assocation are  improving the market conditions as well as the accessbility to raw materials. Its members are the national precast concrete industry associations from European countries.

German Roof Association

The German Roof Association is an employer organisation which counts approximately 7.500 member companies. It represents the roofers's interest both on national and international level and works out rules and regulations regarding the whole working process. They also participate in the organisation of the trade fair DACH+HOLZ International .
